We provide comprehensive on-site medical services to assist productions with their regulation requirements while filming throughout Canada. Our industrial ambulance services are provided to cover your Worker Compensation Board production needs, rural filming, stunt standby, and 2nd Unit coverage.

We can provide any level of care from single attendants to full medical teams comprised of many types of professional medical personnel. Our services extend to urban and rural filming environments throughout BC and Alberta with use of our ambulances. Unit Paramedics

Vancouver Paramedic Services specializes in providing qualified unit paramedic's for long term attachment to your film units. Our staff are fully qualified BC registered paramedics with front line experience in Film and TV work. VPS staff will always be equipped to deal quickly and effectively with both serious accidents, and minor injuries, illnesses and ailments on location while filming. Your crew will be qualified, equipped and we provide full medical malpractice insurance & third party insurance for our staff so your production is covered by the best in the business. We specialize in additional coverage for second unit, pre-rigging, strikes, small house parites, pool parties, birthday parties, music tours, award shows and film stunts.

For remote locations, "off road" locations or sets with poor road access, we can provide fully equipped Medical Support Units. 4 x 4 vehicles are used extensively for horse scenes, filming in the woods, quarries, beaches or fields. All too often productions book a "conventional" ambulance - only for us to find that the location and terrain means our crews would have difficulty reaching or removing a casualty.

Paramedic Ambulance Services

Our private ambulance fleet is available for your remote needs, stunts, and large production teams. Under WorksafeBC requirements, an emergency transportation vehicle is required for remote and hazardous shooting locations. We have you covered.

In the event of an emergency, our ambulance crews and first responders are trained with ITLS vehicle extrication training to reach, stabilize and extricate trapped patients. They are also specially trained for hybrid vehicles, trucks, buses and small aircraft.

Mobile Medical Centres

We can provide a fully equipped Medical centre for your production anywhere in BC or Alberta.

This allows our medical staff to treat your crew in a hygenic, well-lit, purpose-built medical facility wherever you are. Ideal for studios or semi-permanent production bases.

The unit carries a full stock of medical equipment and are laid out to our specifications - ensuring everything is easy to locate and use in an emergency.
